Musto performance Skiff at Medemblik Regatta

This year sailors in the Musto Performance Skiff class will compete at the Medemblik Regatta. This single-handed high-performance boat fits perfectly between the Olympic classes at the regatta. The Musto Performance Skiff has their World Championship this summer in Medemblik. For participants of the World Championship, the Medemblik Regatta is the perfect event to prepare.

Competition for the Musto Skiff is planned from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 May 2019. Registration for this class is open at the website. The first entries are already registered, among them is Paul Dijkstra. He came in second at the Worlds test event, which was held in Medemblik last year.

The class

The Musto Performance Skiff is designed as an elegance boat, sensational to sail in. The single-handed Skiff has a lot of similarities with the duo handed Skiff. The only big difference is were the duo-handed class has a jib, the single-handed hasn’t. It’s a very international class with sailors from 27 different countries. The entry list of the World Championship already counts over 100 entries and also has many different nationalities.
