Saturday, May 25th the Medemblik Regatta will welcome a group of Kitefoil surfers. Kitesurfing is an Olympic sport and will be on the program of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. In the Netherlands, the preparations for 2024 are in full swing. A reason for the Dutch Watersport Federation to implement this sport at the Medemblik Regatta. The RS:X European Champions Lilian de Geus, Kiran Badloe and Fabien Pianazza will compete at the Medemblik Regatta in May.
