The weather offers another solid day’s racing on the IJselmeer for day 2 of the Delta Lloyd Regatta. It’s overcast, but the south-westerly wind is blowing about 8-9 knots, and the air temperature is slightly warmer than yesterday, projected to get up to 17 degrees this afternoon. Even in yesterday’s stronger breezes, the wind direction was extremely variable, making it hard for most sailors to keep consistent scores across all their races. Today could be similar, making for more tricky decision-making for the 13 different fleets competing on five race courses.
