After a successful Medemblik Regatta, SLAM and the organisation decided to continue the cooperation. In 2018 the brand joined the Regatta for the first time as official clothing partner, and it was a success. The 34th Medemblik Regatta has been sailed from 22 to 26 May 2018. With 320 teams from 47 nations, it has been a successful event. All races have been sailed and competitions got really close. The fourth day of racing is all about getting qualified for the medal races. Some sailors still had to work hard to get that spot in the top 10. For the Laser, Nacra 17 and 49er sailors there were some interesting battles. “Tricky conditions on the water again today”, says Remco de Goederen, Principal Race Officer. “The easterly wind that we’ve been having all week makes it really difficult.
