The 35th edition of the Medemblik Regatta will be organized from Tuesday 21th to Saturday 25th of May 2019. Registration for the event opened Tuesday, January 29th. Over the years many Olympic- European- and World Champions have raced at the Regatta in Medemblik. And after the success of last year, the Youth Windsurfers are invited again as well.  The Medemblik Regatta is an annual event which is organized from the Regatta Center Medemblik. The 34th Medemblik Regatta has been sailed from 22 to 26 May 2018. With 320 teams from 47 nations, it has been a successful event. All races have been sailed and competitions got really close. The fourth day of racing is all about getting qualified for the medal races. Some sailors still had to work hard to get that spot in the top 10. For the Laser, Nacra 17 and 49er sailors there were some interesting battles. “Tricky conditions on the water again today”, says Remco de Goederen, Principal Race Officer. “The easterly wind that we’ve been having all week makes it really difficult. Three days of racing are done at the 34st Medemblik Regatta. The competition is strong and competitors are working hard to claim their medal race spot.
