It’s a difficult day for sailors and race committee. Light and shifty winds kept the RS:X classes on shore for an extra hour. The sailors of the Hansa class manage to race an extra race and the day closes in sunny conditions. For the Hansa Class it’s their first day of racing in Medemblik. The first day of racing is done at the Medemblik Regatta Nautical Festival. Almost all classes raced according to schedule, only the Hansa Class had to stay inside due to, too heavy winds. For the RS:X surfers racing went smooth and fast. After the official opening of the Medemblik Regatta Nautical Festival on Monday night at the Regatta Center, the event kicked off this morning at 9.00 hour in the city center. Stay up to date about all the racing at the Medemblik Regatta 2019. This week we have the RS:X Youth, RS:X Men and RS:X Women, the Hansa Class, 49er(FX), Musto Skiff, Windfoil surfing and Kiteboard Foiling racing in Medemblik. Tuesday and Wednesday we start with the RS:X classes, the 49er(FX) and the Hansa Class. Thursday the Musto Skiff and Windfoil surfing will be added and on Saturday all classes are out with also the Kiteboard Foiling.
